about

Tatarô means the spontaneity of the music that the band produces and everything that accompanies it. The word arose when the group was immersed in the creation of the songs, when drummer and backing vocalist Mário Gascó spontaneously hummed through the corridors of Bangue Estúdio, the group's stronghold, the first “tatarôooo” in chorus. Campo decided to use the word in music, and, consequently, to name the EP that way, in a sense of collectiveness and irreverence that accompanies the project.

The work leaves a little bit of rock - musical genre that was the basis of the beginning of the band - and goes through other rhythms, like the bolero / afrobeat in "Papo de Peixe" or the baião / psychedelic in "Sem Never Mais", still bringing a little of the new Brazilian psychedelia in “Tatarô” and a touch of experimentalism, for what could change the band's sound in the future, with the long “Rio Adentro” - highlight of the EP. To listen without moderation, over and over again, and let yourself be carried away by the worlds that cross the sound.
